Paulina was born and lives in Mexico City. She has always enjoyed photography and started attending workshops while in high school. She majored in Business Administration at a leading California university.

When she decided to pursue a career in photography, she attended a 2-year program at the “Escuela Activa de Fotografia" in Mexico City. She has also studied art history and appreciation at "Casa Lam" and at the "Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico".

She has participated in photography workshops in Asia with world-known

photographers Steve McCurry and Dennis Cox and in Underwater Photography workshops in Cayman Islands and Cozumel.

She has participated in three collective expositions at the “La Candela” gallery in Mexico City and is preparing a solo exposition for next fall.

Her work has been featured in “Paula” magazine and she is currently preparing an article on Ethiopia for “Travesias” magazine. She photographed the Mapelli collection of Mexican textiles for the Museum of Popular Art (opening 2004).

She specializes in environmental portraits and travel photography. She has photographed in many countries around the world, especially in Asia. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French and is currently photographing Popular Art throughout Mexico.
